I have been an OOAK artist for many years. It actually started when I was a child and I wanted my Velvet doll's makeup to look more like Crissy's. She was my first repaint. I must have done a pretty good job on her because everyone always commented on how different my Velvet doll looked but I never got in trouble for "butchering" her! Sadly, I no longer own my original doll. But I have acquired many others to make up for the loss. I look for the most helpless victims I can find when I begin my transformations. This very satisfying hobby is just that for me. I do not do commissions, but I am always available for advice.
After offering several sets of auctions with my overflowing shelves of dolls, people began to request custom Crissy family dolls from me. I no longer accept outside work, but I am always available to help other artists.
I repaired this website as a medium to showcase my creations from the last several years. Most of them go to friends, family and charity.
Although I have been remaking dolls since I was a child, I only began in earnest rerooting and repainting in 2002. It was then that I realized these very versatile dolls were readily available in poor condition on Ebay. Someone needed to restore them and I chose myself!
